Ilya Lagutenko

Born on October 16, 1968, in Moscow.
Soon after his birth, his family moved to Vladivostok.
In school he became engrossed with studying Chinese.
He sang with a children's choir that took him to many Russian cities as they traveled through half of the country.
In 1992, he graduated from the Far East University as a specialist in the Far East and Africa.
He worked in China and Great Britain with a commercial consulting firm. In 1983, he founded the rock group «Mumi Troll,» later renamed, «Mumiy Troll.»

Eugene "Sdwig" Zvidionny
bass

Born December 11, 1968, in Vladivostok.
He studied at Middle School Number 1. It was during this time he started playing bass and keyboards. He played in the band, «Azbuka» (Alphabet).
After finishing school, he studied at the Polytechnic Institute.
He worked as a computer arts graphic designer.
In 1985, Sdwig joined Vladivostok rock groups, «Tretya Strazha» (Third Guards) and «Tumanny Ston» (Misty Moan). He recorded albums with these and other groups in the «Tai-Chu» and «Dekade» studios.
In 1990, he took part in the tape recording of the second «Mumi Troll» album, «Delai U-U» (Do U-U).
In the fall of 1996, he received an offer to join «Mumiy Troll». He has played with MT since the first concert in Vladivostok, in the summer of 1997.

Oleg Pungin
drums

Born November 16, 1968, in Vladivostok.
From 1st to 10th grade he was a member of the children’s ensemble, Schastlivoye Detstvo (Happy Childhood).
At the end of the 1980’s — after finishing school — he worked in a Pacific Fleet song and dance ensemble.
By the end of the 1990’s, he was working in radio writing captions and advertising spots, and recording various performers.
He founded one of Vladivostok’s recording studios, where he worked as an arranger and sound engineer recording other artists from Vladivostok.
In the summer of 1997, he received an offer to perform several concerts with Mumiy Troll in the Far East, after which he became a permanent member of the band.

Oleg Pungin




Yuri Tsaler
guitars, keys, saxophone

Born on May 22, 1973, in Pervouralsk (in the Sverdlovsk Region).
He studied piano at the Tchaikovsky Music Academy.
He worked in a bread factory, for all of one day.
He performed with his father, a well-known jazzman, before chequered audiences in bars renowned as the local hangouts for gangsters.
Later he founded the band Ptitsa Zu.
When the group disbanded due to the death of their bass guitarist, he moved to Moscow where he worked with Pavel Kashin.
In 1997, he received an offer to join Mumiy Troll, through Ilia Kormiltsev, to whom he gave guitar lessons. He has been a member of the group since the fall of 1997.
