22.01.08:  Ilya Lagutenko about misic and musicians on Ikra.tv.

Ilya Lagutenko says: «Our idea of Ikra.tv was like sending a small ship into a stream: we didn't know where it will be taken or what will be the result, but we had a lot of desires and a lot of hopes for Ikra.tv. On the other side, a lot of musicians, beginners or experienced ones, come to us for support, but, unfortunately, we are not a recording company, or a releasing company, or a radio station, and even not a TV channel yet.

When Ikra.tv administration observed several month of our resource's work, we saw that we can do a lot, even without having access to radio or TV broadcasting. Some musicians seemed especially interesting to us. It's quite likely that Ikra.tv will create its own chart, a hit-parade of preferences, and will institute awards for best songs. It's highly probably that we are going to recommend songs and groups that we like to our friends in musical business, and now the site administration is developing a scheme for such cooperation. And it's for sure that things that we like will be aired on our radio station and TV channel when they start broadcasting, which are going to happen in the near future.

The main condition for this heap of plans to come true is that Ikra.tv continue functioning. The more songs you put there, the more groups register,љ— the faster and better our and your plans are going to come into being.

Currently we listened to all the songs on Ikra.tv that appeared here before the end of the previous year. Many of them let us hope for good future of music in our country. We'd like to specially note the following five groups:

Ben Gann, which pleased us with their sparking humour.

Skafandr – my favorite group on Ikra.tv, which makes me hope that very diverse music exist in our country, and let in live.

Dzhinsi Dzhill – I think it's the most modern and well-timed group.

Rimma and Pulineprobivaemie (Rimma and the Bulletproofs) conquered me with a good balance of texts and arrangements. They can be really proud of such lo-fi, and that is why they are on hi-tops of my personal hit-parade.

Mekhanicheski Shaman (Mechanical Shaman) – it was great to hear a group that plays in a totally unexpected style, so, resurrect faster, Shaman.
